Character sheet; beginnings

So, I'm taking my sweet time doing so, but I wanted to show some process shots for creating a character. I'm also creating a creature and an environment for this same character. She lives on a desert moon. I'm trying to show weapons and consistency, so I can put it in my portfolio.

Inspired by Mike Corrieros sketchbook pages in last months ImagineFX Magazine, I asked friends on facebook to post random animals. I take each three and mix them into a creature. This is my first attempt....and let me tell you, it's not an easy task. But it IS fun!!
